Midoun

Drugo največje mesto na otoku Djerba leži v notranjosti in se nahaja blizu turistične cone in večine hotelov. Nič več tako majhen in tradicionalen kot včasih, pa vendar ponuja obiskovalcem vse, kar je potrebno za turistični kraj. Polno majhnih trgovinic s turističnimi spominki, pošta, banke, lekarne, slaščičarne, dobro založen butik s čevlji in ne nazadnje petkova tržnica prispevajo k zanimivi ponudbi. Vsak teden je tukaj sejem oziroma ?libijska? tržnica in tako mesto en dan v tednu oživi v tradicionalnem utripu trgovanja. V bližini mesta leži tudi velik stadion in novo zgrajena univerza za turizem, ki jo mladi iz južne Tunizije kar množično obiskujejo. Kraj je od letališča oddaljen 18 km.
